Kevin Masterson is a native of Trumansburg New York where his high school playing days were spent with the Trumansburg Blue Raiders becoming a 2nd Team All-State player. After high school Kevin attended Keuka College (central New York) playing soccer and becoming a 1st Team All Conference player while earning a degree in general education and special education. He began his teaching and coaching career at Trumansburg High School before deciding to move to Columbus in 2009. He met his wife while attending Keuka College and ended up in Worthington Ohio, her hometown, where they have established their family with two girls. Coaching club soccer with Classics Eagles and Worthington United, Kevin began to understand the soccer community of central Ohio and coached with Worthington Kilbourne’s men’s team as a JV head coach and Varsity assistant. Kevin is in his 13th year of coaching, 2nd for the Scioto Women’s team.
Matt Trummer grew up in Kettering, OH where he played soccer for Kettering Fairmont High School. He was a part of a Senior class that produced the only undefeated season in program history. After high school, he attended The Ohio State University and continued playing the game through Club and Intramurals. Upon graduating from Ohio State, Matt held a brief career in sales before returning to school and getting his teaching license. He began his teaching career at Marion Harding High School before joining Dublin City Schools in 2017. He bought a house in Dublin with his wife, Whitney, and currently teaches Math at Scioto High School. Along with teaching, Matt is a group fitness instructor with System of Strength, one of the top studios in Columbus. This will be his 2nd season serving as a JV coach.
Natalie Ashbrook is from Dublin, Ohio and graduated from Dublin Coffman High School. Soccer has always been a huge part of her life since starting to play at the age of 5. She grew up playing for OP and played at Dublin Coffman. After graduating high school, Natalie continued her education and soccer career at Otterbein University where she would be a 4 year starter as a center defender and major in Early Childhood Education. While at Otterbein, Natalie was voted team captain by her teammates and coaches, received Academic All- OAC awards and was Third Team All-Region her senior year. Natalie is currently a kindergarten teacher at Robert Louis Stevenson Elementary in Grandview. This will be her 2nd season coaching at Dublin Scioto and she is very excited to see what the future holds for this strong program.
Bill LeRoy is entering his 2nd year of coaching Lady Irish Soccer, his 8th year of coaching soccer, and his 5th year of focusing on goalkeepers. Bill and his wife Kristen have been members of the Dublin community for 19 years. They are parents of Jenna (Davis 8th grader), Julia (Scioto junior), and Jacob (Scioto graduate, and sophomore at The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business). In Bill’s professional career, he leads a data and analytics team at Dublin-based Stanley Steemer, and his business management and leadership experience spans over 15 years. Bill has also coached youth football and volleyball and has served on multiple high school sports and civic boards, but he now focuses his community involvement efforts on coaching the beautiful game.
